The Junior Division offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size and the Junior/Senior/Big League field size.

We will try to play 8-10 games with other teams in the district.   We play our home games around the beginning of May at Marguerite field.

Volunteers need to obtain the following clearances and provide copies to the league.  If you have questions please contact us at [email protected]

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR WEST POINT LITTLE LEAGUE

As of July 1, 2016, There are Additional Clearance Requirements for Pennsylvania Youth Program Volunteers.
Little League Volunteers Must Comply with BOTH the Little League Volunteer Requirements and the New Pennsylvania State Child Protection Requirements for Youth Volunteers.

During 2014 the Pennsylvania State Legislature passed a series of new state regulations for increased protection of children from potential predators.  The new regulations include requirements for additional background checks for volunteers who supervise or have regular direct contact with children.  These new requirements take effect January 3, 2019,   THIS MEANS VOLUNTEERS FOR THE 2018 LITTLE LEAGUE SEASON WILL NEED TO FULLY COMPLY WITH THE NEW STATE REQUIREMENTS.  It is also important to note that the state requirements do not replace existing Little League requirements for volunteer applications and background checks - the state requirements are in addition to the Little League requirements.  These requirements apply to Managers, Coaches, regular practice helpers, and regular umpires  --  anybody who has repetitive direct involvement with the children.

Please note that there are three clearances required but one of them, the Federal criminal history check, is not required for non-profit youth program volunteers if the volunteer has resided within Pennsylvania continuously for the past 10 years.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THESE CLEARANCES AND THEY ARE LESS THAN 60 months old,  THEY ARE STILL VALID FOR OUR VOLUNTEER WORK AND WE JUST NEED TO RETAIN COPIES OF THE CLEARANCES.

In addition to these three documents needed, two if you have been a resident of pa for 10 continuous years, little league also requires their own background check.  There will be two files available for download below.  One will be for returning volunteers, anyone who has volunteered for little league in the past, and the second document will be for first time volunteers in our little league program.  Remember this applies to all Managers, Coaches, regular practice helpers, and regular umpires -- anybody who has repetitive direct involvement with the children.
2020 Volunteer application (little league volunteer application)

*Announced on June 10 2015: Beginning July 25 2015, the fees for the PA State Police and Child Abuse history checks will be waived for volunteers.

In conclusion...if you have lived in Pennsylvania for 10 consecutive years you will need to complete 3 of the 4 applications. (PA State Criminal History Check, PA Child Abuse History Check, and one of the Little League Volunteer Applications.)

If you HAVE NOT lived In Pennsylvania for 10 consecutive years you will need to complete all 4 applications.  (PA State Criminal History Check, PA Child Abuse History Check, Federal Criminal History Check, and one of the Little League Volunteer Applications.)

When filling out your clearance forms please use  West Point Little League. All volunteers must supply a copy of all the clearances to the League and maintain a copy with for the volunteers records as well.
